Empire State Run to Neon Night Run – conquering Colonial Knob at Night

Colonial Knob / Rangituhi Scenic Reserve, Porirua. Sat, Oct 27, 2018

Our very own two time world mountain running champ and 2 times winner of the Empire State Building race, Melissa Moon will be leading the warm up for the Neon Night Walk on October 27th, at Colonial Knob in Porirua Scenic Reserve.  Where she will lead the warm up before walking up the 712 steps to the Lookout.  Whilst a challenge for many it’s still less than the 1570 steps to the top of the Empire State Building.   This non competitive, event gives people the choice of 8, 16 or 24 kms, conquering Colonial Knob 1,2 or 3 times.  People can ‘just do it’ for the mojo or #glow4good and raise money for a cause close to  their heart.

There'll be music and lights to energise you as you power up to Colonial Knob for sunset, then cruise or zoom down a glorious gradual track back to the music and lights at Camp Elsdonall whilst dressed to make a  statement with Neon themed outfits. https://neonnightwalk.co.nz/event-info/
