Lake Wanaka will be setting the scene this week for hundreds of adventure racing competitors arriving for the start of the seven day GODZone event this Saturday (Feb 28th).
Four months after announcing their intention to contest the GODZone adventure race, the Murray family have put in the training hours necessary to complete the multi-day challenge at the end of February.
After two days of intense adventure racing in varied weather conditions there was only 22 seconds separating first and second place in the Falls Creek Mountain Raid Adventure Race, with Team Peak Adventure taking the win for the second year in a row.
